NaPoMo Day 3

i know i have posted this one before but when i saw all the snow this morning, i had to re-post.  & when i saw the snow covering up the daffodils in the garden, that was just too good not to add to the poem.

snow on daffodils

(spring snow)

is there

anything

as sad as

spring snow?

you are gone.

i will never

see you again.

the cold wind

slices

against my cheek.

a knife

to my heart.

the snow

still falls.
